Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA), Titles I and II of the ADA of 1990, and Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and our own organization’s Mission and Vision Statements, Sin City Opera has a commitment to ensuring that all segments of our community have opportunity and access to the performing arts.
Sin City Opera’s Board-approved ADA Coordinator is Artistic Director and full-time Registered Nurse at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada, Skip Galla. Sin City Opera does not have 50 or more employees, but still places serious value on the accessibility of our productions as they relate to our community. Our procedure was adopted in 2015 with our first request for open captioning and we continue to work towards making our programs and services accessible to all. Any grievances or requests are directed to Skip Galla via our programs, from the ADA-accessible venue where we are performing, or through our website Contacts page. Email address, telephone number, and business address are provided there.
Adopted by the Sin City Opera Board of Directors on 3.10.17
